There’s a huge jump between being “green” and doing things that care for the environment, to saying that a slight increase in a couple of gasses will bring about the end of society as we know it therefore we should end all freedoms of society as we know it, just in case – and then calling people names who don’t agree with you.

I have yet to meet a climate change denier. The climate has always changed, over the short, medium and long-term. Recent changes have been small against the backdrop of the last million years.

I’m confused. Cameron makes, or made, a great song & dance about being green, but most of his troops (no doubt being relevantly qualified scientists) are climate-change deniers. Can someone explain?

So now we have it. Merely to remark that someone recommending a vegetarian diet is also a Hindu constitutes “a stinging attack with potentially discriminatory connotations”. Come off it guys. It’s comments like this that give political correctness a bad name.

The way climate change deniers are tarred with the same brush as racists, homophobes, sexists, etc, etc is to me deeply disturbing and suggests the Left really has lost all sense of perspective.
