As a Scot, may I say that a devolved Parliament is over rated. You have MSPs, MPs and MEPs all competing for your attention and you’re subjected to their insolance on a daily basis. If you can simply have one person to represent you, that’s better than having three pestering you for opinions when the things they campaign for won’t affect you in the slightest

It’s not ALL Scotland’s oil and gas anyway. And Scotland has benefited from the UK since it was bailed out of bankrupcy at the time of Union.

Let’s revoke the Continental Shelf Act and set the oil record straight.

Really? Where on earth did that perception come from?

Scotland…
is the richest nation withing the UK.
> receives more than every single Englsih “region”
> receives 20% more than England overall
> has had its useless banks bailed out (and job cuts have been most severe in England)

So where on earth does this “perception” come from?

(oh, and if someone is tempted to say “oil”… it is UK oil until Scot;land decides to leave the Union. Besdides, since when has socialism had a doctrine of take from everyone equally and give most to the richest?)
