Billy, in America, the banks were regulated by the central bank and look what happened.

I fully agree with you Will. Further to that, what about the proposed increase in the number of accademies and the so called ‘free schools’, which may be at the expense of Building Schools for the Future.

And, perhaps all of you who are saying “cut now” can explain why, after announcing austerity measures Spain’s credit rating was cut? Fitch’s couldn’t have been clearer in saying that these measures were damaging growth.

And the truth is the Liberal Democrats cannot be trusted; 1 minute they support Labour in respect of the deficit, but then they do a complete U-turn for a seat in power. That most certainly is not ‘New Politics.’ The Tories are the same old Tories, and the Lib Dems cannot be trusted.

From the IFS report you quote:

I take it the alternative is to do notheing and borrow more and more in teh hopes that our lucky grandchildren can pay it off???
