		<description>Excellent and realistic article. Good to see proper casualty figures published to show real extent of what troops are experiencing over and above the KIA headlines. Where do you get these numbers from, would be interested to know?
Your point about the emptiness of our stated strategic end goal, of an enormous security superstructure sitting on top of a minute economy with a very weak central government, is well made. This has been the elephant in the room for some years, our end goal is a repressive security state fighting its own people. Not very attractive.
From outside the machine it looks very much like there is no strategy and no realistic gols, and our troops are dying and killing for we know not what.</description>

		<description>I am not surprised that  The Tories can&#039;t get their sums right. I remember in the run up to the General Election 2010 that some of their statistics were out by a factor of 10! I think some remedial mathematics refresher classes are needed very urgently!</description>
