There are 2 others I could have put there; Clegg, for the reasons highlighted, and Jeremy Hunt, the Culture Secretary, who in the last week has provided us with more evidence, as if more were needed that the coalition is dancing to Murdock’s tune. I am referring to his comments last weekend about the lisence fee, and also his decision to postpone a decision on the so called ‘Crown Juels.’ It is clear to me that, with these policies and others, not meerly is he dancing to Murdock’s tune, but he is also damaging our credibility in terms of increasing participation in sport, which is 1 of the things our olimpic bid was based on. I will be interested to see if Joy Jonson has anything to say about all this.
