This is what happened in the Ramsbottom ward in Bury. The council hung on a knife-edge, but due to her superior straw-drawing prowess, Labour candidate Joanne Columbine, won the election and the council for Ed Miliband’s party.

We can assure the NO2AV campaign that spending on the straws did not have to be taken out of the baby incubator budget.
