Come and work for Left Foot Forward
Left Foot Forward is now open for applications for the role of intern. This exciting position will involve researching and writing articles; editing copy; maintaining the website; and other administrative duties. Candidates must have a commitment to centre-left progressive values; good writing and sub-editing skills; good web, IT and graphics skills; and an awareness of current affairs and policy developments.
We will be paying the successful applicant the London Living Wage rate of £8.30 per hour to help continue our work in showcasing the evidence for progressive politics and combatting the misinformation peddled by politicians and the media.
Ideally we are also looking for somebody who has knowledge of HTML; picture editing; data analysis and presentation; journalistic experience; and a knowledge of progressive organisations.
The role will be based at our offices in Westminster, with occasional evening and weekend event reporting. As a web-based company, we are also flexible concerning out-of-office working. We will offer the successful candidate a three-month contract, to be extended a further three months on mutual agreement.
Please submit your CV with covering letter, both as attachments, to shamik@leftfootforward.org before 12 noon on Monday September 5th.
Unfortunately we will not be able to contact all applicants who we do not call for interview.
